A faceless tourist in Iceland on its Diamond Beach, with a dangling story waiting to explode. But what about the place, the land you're visiting? How many tourists actually take the time to draw in the energy of a new location? How many truly emerge themselves within the experience?
I'm currently visiting Iceland. When I visited Jökulsarlón, a surreal piece of this planet filled with glaciers in abstract forms, most visitors were preoccupied taking selfies or photos of themselves and I couldn't truly grasp this scene. Mother and I were quite in awe. Glaciers are widely known to hold incredible powers and energy - energy we, as humans, can channel, but only if we take the time and show the initiative to c o n n e c t with them.
